Paola Gabrielli
Paola Gabrielli was born and raised in Cles, in Val di Non. Her father overwhelmed her with books; those books that she and her sister would dive into with curiosity and longing, savoring their scent until the last page. Even late at night.
He has always loved art and knowledge to the point of almost losing himself in it.
An attraction that she attributes to “an inner demon that always chases us and torments us, until it finds the right satisfaction”.
After high school and music studies in singing and piano, she graduated in Trento in Modern Literature with a specialization in Art History. It was the beginning of a long and complex journey.
In fact, she explored the world of ancient writings in all their many forms: from cataloging ancient books to the study of private and chancery documentary forms, graduating in Archives, Paleography and Diplomatics at the State Archives of Bolzano and subsequently moving on to historical research. She works for Municipalities, as a librarian, Provinces and Museums.
Lately, she has combined her writing with teaching Literature and Art, with workshops for children and teenagers in the area.
She has been dancing since 2010 in Cristina Maida's ATS (American Tribal Style) dance company and studies color according to the Aura-Soma method ("You are the colors you choose").
