Vedic knowledge is the source of all esotericism. Gnosis, hermeticism, Egyptian knowledge, Kabbalah, are all branches of the immense tree of the Vedas. But studying this tree in its entirety today is practically impossible.
In particular, the European approach towards Vedic literature is very problematic.
On the one hand there are mental patterns that are difficult to overcome in order to grasp the vision of Purana and some Upanisad, a vision that requires, socratically, the abandonment of all our prejudices; on the other hand there is the awareness of being faced with a much more evolved and aware knowledge and civilization than the modern one and this aspect greatly undermines the presumed superiority of Western culture.
The term Upanisad itself means "to sit at the feet of the master." These "texts" were put into written form around the VII-VI century BC. C., but for millennia it has always been an oral, confidential knowledge, transmitted, in fact, from master to disciple. In these essays, Vedic and Puranic myths are compared with Greek and Biblical ones; the reader will find a single source of knowledge and a perennial tradition that has always been renewed.
