Un incontro inaspettato – Dario Atena Fontana Editore

An unexpected meeting – Dario Athena

Rocco Fontana

Things and people that arrive at the least expected and least opportune moments, but which still seem to arrive to respond to our intimate request. However, I don't think there is any reason to maintain this amazement, after so many years spent exploring the mystery that is "myself", I have often been delighted by small and large fortuitous gifts, as with Dario Athena.

Dario entered my existence quietly and in an apparently random way. However, his email, sent to me to a little-used work address of mine, intrigued me. That email contained "The Ancient Science of Resurrection" , one of the books I decided to publish, a text dedicated to the beloved George I. Gurdjieff which could not fail to attract my attention, given my history through his teachings. Hence the impulse to start a personal acquaintance, which then became a collaboration. Reading the book I was in turmoil, my thoughts seemed to find those internal connections that I had been looking for for some time.

Dario has the ability to absorb and process an impressive amount of information. In his life, much of which is told in " The Children of Thunder ", he studied many initiatory traditions. This work is an inspired and surprising synthesis, here one can find concordances and correspondences between the various currents of mysticism and the most ancient traditions.

Dario's books cannot be said to be easy pastimes for esotourists (or amateurs of esotericism!); in fact, sometimes it seems that thoughts that are evident to him are almost not "translatable" to ordinary mortals. But the effort required of the reader will be repaid with a revelation, the result of a journey experienced by the author first-hand and with many difficulties, like any journey within ourselves!

The books of Darius Athena:
- The children of Thunder
- The ancient science of Resurrection
- Initiatory teaching
