Eclipse Meditation

The Eclipse Meditation

Only for those who already understand something and are smart.

I don't think we need complicated meditations that start from the "center of the galaxy" (sic) and I don't think we need to meditate on the eclipse but rather IN THE ECLIPSE since we are already there.

When we say things like “center of the galaxy” we are talking about fluff, and it is not that, because we are talking about meditation and not mechanical engineering, the fluff is less: what does “center of the galaxy” mean to me?… Nothing. So once again spirituality is understood as a “fairy tale that makes us live better” thus losing the perception of reality for what it is, that is, dream-splendour-potentiality.

Likewise, what is the point of “leaving the body” to travel in “astral” dimensions, that is, in what we imagine? The Cypriot shaman Daskalos, whom I met with pleasure, really went out in the astral, with the result that, sitting in an armchair, he could tell you who was miles away or just outside the door. And Gustavo Adolfo Rol could do the same. This is to say that if we must speak of the “Intangible” it also calls for - in reality - a direct understanding and a development in our experience.

So: let's avoid talking about fluff and broaden our meditation with sensible and intelligible techniques.

Some Explanations to Read and Come Back To

What happens during the eclipse?

At the level of individual and collective karma, there is an acceleration: it is up to us to decide whether for better or for worse. This is what I have heard from Tibetan Masters, not the “ascended” or “subtle” ones, but those in flesh and blood.

So for two days before the date of the eclipse - and for two days after - the mind enters more easily into the silence and certain conditions of the energy we are about to consider.

So it's five days in total to manage.

Inner silence has a connection to the functions of the brain, the endocrine functions, as well as those of prana and qi; in the same way the inner silence encouraged by the eclipse works.

At the level of brain functions we have the synergy of the hemispheres, which is also detectable in a more continuous balance of the quantity of flow from the two nostrils; while remembering that the mind is NOT the brain, being a much larger, more mysterious and interactive space of experience than a piece of meat, we must consider the importance of this physiological rhythm, given that it conditions, and by a lot, our mental state, and that it is in turn conditioned by it.

To give an understandable example, a type of “superior” sexuality begins precisely from the “extended perception” that passes through the senses, vivifying them; and so we can notice that instead of the usual male excitement – right nostril more active – and female excitement – left nostril more active – the flow inexplicably balances in the two nostrils, both in men and women initiated into superior sexuality, while orgasmic pleasure – which generally has an inevitable peak and fall – becomes a continuous and lasting bliss.

At the endocrine level we have an orderly activation of the hypothalamus which, lasting over time, allows us a different endocrine secretion, significantly detectable in the throat with a sweet and slightly acidic taste.

Qi and Prana

But it is at the level of qi and prana that something truly uncommon happens.
The energy levels of prana and qi are not equal but touch each other in their centers and overlap in their functions; qi is a bioelectric energy that flows in the meridians (yes, those of acupuncture) flowing through all the limbs, connecting the nervous system and the blood flow, to the emotions. While the main flow of qi follows the central line of the body going up from the back and down on the front - for men - and the opposite for women, the secondary flow manifests itself in 360 points for 12 meridians. Of qi we therefore have a flow of bioelectricity that winds through the meridians and that can be varied thanks to some points that are concavities (cin. Hsue) that it fills to continue; in these concavities we can act by dispersing or stimulating the qi. Qi can also be moved by eye movement + concentration and by concentration + body movement as well as by blowing (active) or sucking (passive) obtained through persistent practice.

Prana circulates through countless subtle channels that do not connect with the physical body (which is why it is ridiculous or American to talk about “gymnastics for the chakras” or “perfumes for the chakras”), connecting the breath with the specific functions of the central and peripheral nervous system(s), as well as with feelings, which, unlike emotions (qi), involve will.
However, I must break a lance for those who improperly use the term "chakra", because a chakra even if it is not really functionally connected with - for example - the stomach, being in good health gives excellent support to the physical stomach. A strong worry, however, can through a feeling of loss/impotence bother the heart chakra and therefore directly cause an extrasystole.
On the contrary, qi is connected to wild emotionality which certainly directly regulates the internal organs, emotionality being regulated only by silent meditation.

Where Qi Distills and the Two Pranas Unite

The belly, in the navel area, is the place where the qi curls up creating a battery of strength, flowing internally to a sphere (or “ball”) of energy, thus generating, with a dynamo movement, a very important battery for our health and success in meditation.
For those who still have no experience with this “organ of energy” it may seem impossible to tell what it is capable of. So let's move on, since those who have the courage to explore and ask for clarification will also have the merit and joy of enjoying what others cannot even understand.
To be very practical, Bruce Lee also managed to strengthen his physical/energetic/mental system not only through training but also through the intentional evocation of functions linked to qi and archetypal forces linked to his culture.

For Yoga, in the same place that is called “nabi” and which is centered in manipura chakra, the meeting of two powerful pranic energies, prana and apana, occurs.
These two forces determine – thanks to the power epically described as Kala-Agni (cosmic fire) – an encounter that creates a strong non-metabolic heat that is defined as “tapas-agni” and which affects what we would call in the West “the immune force”.

This is the same “cosmic fire” that determines eclipses through the two gravitational powers that collaborate, and that will consume the galaxy at the end of its life. This is how, with the archetypes, the human and sidereal planes connect. Working with these archetypes, one can enter into a real and not “vague” dialogue with the forces that regulate the universal functions which, in fact, are always archetypes.

Some Meditation Techniques to Use During the Eclipse

First Technique [basic]
Just sit in silence, opening your senses and letting them blossom.
The eclipse with its strength will simply enhance the experience of union with the whole.
Too easy?

Second Technique [pranic]
As in the first, in addition it is added that the body is perceived as translucent and iridescent, as well as light and luminous, in it there is a channel that goes from just below the navel to above the top of the head and continuing straight into the sky for several meters. From this channel one feels the celestial influence entering
of the eclipse, in the form of a light that has the color that we immediately perceive. We let this light enter with its stellar initiatory power, which, practically, means passing through the central channel, in every center (or rather where we feel like letting it happen) WHERE a star will shine leaving us with a lasting sensation of boundless openness.

Third Technique [concerning qi]
Let's start from the first and then listen to the movement of the qi that moves as we have already explained according to our gender or our particularity. By listening we can feel the qi moving and in which direction. Instead of moving, the qi energy moves dynamically, circulating thanks to its dynamic impetus, on the surface , on the meridians, while also penetrating deep into the connective tissue, muscles, tendons, and bones. This circular movement continues, taking strength from the jindan, or the celestial grip of the qi, which is on the forehead at the center of the hairline (usually in angels it is iconographically drawn exactly like this). This force shines from the union of the Sun and the Moon and descends into us.
Instead, we take the strength from planet Earth from the center of our feet and it spirals upwards.
The two forces, celestial and terrestrial, merge just below the navel, circulate in the sphere we have already described, and are distributed everywhere in our system.

Final for All Techniques

This energy that we are circulating and that finally gathers just below the navel, we send it in every direction from the central channel and/or from the circular movement of qi, towards everyone, simply by thinking of all our friends, even our “enemies”, those who are “neutral” to us but who we have met at least once. We look them in the eyes and send them this force feeling precisely that it will not be lacking in us but that, on the contrary, it regenerates itself at the very moment in which we send it.
We also send the same force to the masters of every place and time to strengthen our bond with them and to enhance the effect they have in all the tasks they are engaged in.

Thank you all.
My advice is to “meditate” even if there is no eclipse.
I want to remind you that we are always under the guidance of the masters as well as our inner master and that it is our precise task to become masters ourselves.
