Francesco Boer

Fontana Editore

Born in 1980 and lives in Selz, in Friuli Venezia Giulia. He is a researcher of symbols. He follows a tortuous Ariadne's thread, which leads him to wander in remote places and forgotten times. However, he always returns to the present world, and thanks to that thread he has collected he tries to mend the tear that runs through the whole existence like a metaphysical wound.
He writes a lot (it's true NdE). Writing for him is not a means to expose notions, but a way to discover new realities, a continuous research that always reserves new surprises.

He has published several novels, including:

  • Inner Labyrinth (Edizioni Leucotea) – A fairy tale for adults who have lost their soul, a symbolic journey to rediscover the unity of the self.
  • The Underground Journey (Ugo Mursia publisher) – the story of a journey into the Italian subsoil, a way to tell the tensions and secrets that lie beneath the surface of our country's conscience.
  • Tales of the Great War (Kappa Vu editions) – a series of fantastic stories set in the First World War, to reflect on the relationship between reality and historical memory.

Among the essays he wrote we can mention:

  • The arcane face of Trieste (Bruno Fachin publisher) – a guide to the fascinating pagan and esoteric symbols of a city waiting to be discovered.
  • The Truth of the Times (Il Cerchio della Luna editore) – Fake news, urban legends and conspiracy theories, compared with the symbols of ancient mythologies: how the way of telling the world influences the world itself.
  • The Path of Symbols (Il Cerchio della Luna editore) – Thirty-six exercises to reactivate the imagination and explore the Soul, thanks to the symbols that like a lighthouse guide the path in the imaginal world.
